We, at the Meriden Rotary Club, would like to invite you to take part in the 2nd Annual Central CT Pet Fair, Dog Walk & 5k Road Race to benefit the Meriden Humane Society and the Meriden Rotary Foundation on Saturday, October 2nd, 2010.

This event will be held at Hubbard Park with the intent for everyone to find out more about their pets, have fun through interactive events and, most importantly, become aware of the Meriden Humane Society’s needs and the numerous animal adoption agencies that are available in our region.

Dogs must have current vaccinations, be friendly and leashed at all times!!!

• Other pet-friendly events include Pet Reiki, Pet Psychic, Agility Course and more.
• Owners can take part in the Best Dog trick and Owner/Pet Look-A-Like Contests.
• Throughout the day there will be different demonstrations including:
  • Police Dept. K-9 Unit Demo
    
  • Agility Training
  • Dancing Dog
  • Frisbee Dog Demonstration
  • Wally the Big Green Monster (subject to game of the week schedule)
• Appearances by local mascots with photo opportunities available
• Several Pet Adoption agencies will be on-site
